Communication with TACT: Because There Are Always Two Truths Communicating with TACT is not your average conflict resolution course. We get real about why conflict feels so uncomfortable, what’s actually going on in our brains when emotions run high, and how to respond (instead of reacting) when the pressure is on. Most conflict training jumps straight to, “Here’s how to have the conversation.” But if it were that easy, we’d all be pros by now. Communicating with TACT starts with a more important question: “What’s going on with me in this conflict?” Before we can handle tough conversations with others, we need to understand why we’re triggered, how to manage our emotions, and how to shift from defensiveness to curiosity. At the core of every conflict are two truths, ours and theirs. We get stuck because we’re convinced our truth is THE truth. If we want to move forward, we have to be willing to hold space for both perspectives. This course gives you the tools to do exactly that, especially when emotions are running high. By the end of this course, you will be able to analyze conflict dynamics, evaluate its personal and organizational impacts, and demonstrate constructive communication strategies that transform conflict into personal and professional opportunities for connection, collaboration, and growth.

Communicating with TACT: Because There Are Always Two Truths Conflict is uncomfortable, but it doesn’t have to be unmanageable. Communication with TACT is a transformative training experience that helps you move beyond quick fixes and into meaningful change. This isn’t about trust falls or scripted apologies. It’s about understanding what’s really happening inside you and between you when tension rises. Most conflict courses jump straight to conversation tactics. We start somewhere deeper: What’s going on with me in this conflict? Because until you understand your own emotional triggers, reactions, and patterns, no script will help you lead with clarity or confidence. At the heart of every conflict are two truths, yours and theirs. This course helps you hold space for both, without giving in or giving up. You’ll learn how to shift from defensiveness to curiosity, how to respond instead of reacting, and how to navigate tough conversations with skill and empathy. What You’ll Walk Away With • Tools to manage your emotions when conflict heats up • Strategies to recognize and interrupt your own triggers • A mindset shift from “I’m right” to “I’m curious” • A structured approach to help both sides feel heard • Confidence to stay grounded in difficult conversations • Skills to repair relationships and rebuild trust—even when things get messy Who This Course Is For • Leaders & Teams facing communication breakdowns or wanting to build healthy norms • Client-Facing Professionals who deal with difficult customers, vendors, or stakeholders • Anyone stuck in recurring conflict—at work, at home, or within themselves • You, if you’ve ever wished you could handle tension with more grace and less regret Conflict isn’t just about other people, it’s about how we show up. This course helps you understand what’s beneath the surface so you can lead with intention, listen with empathy, and transform tension into progress.
