This is Session #1 of the HR Practical Skills Series! This interactive session will walk attendees through each step of the FMLA process so that they remain legally complaint with the myriad of regulations. Each FMLA form will be covered to demonstrate proper completion. Attendees will be provided flowcharts/timelines, checklists, conversation scripts, and sample letters for use in the entire FMLA process. Due to both HR individual and corporate liability, this hands-on training will cover each step HR legally needs to take in administering FMLA. We will also cover specific challenges such as employees refusing to cooperate, what to do when FMLA allotments are exhausted, reinstatement obligations, transfer to another position, and curbing FMLA intermittent leave abuse.
