By the end of this 2-hour recorded workshop, participants will be able to: 1. Analyse the emotional dimensions of feedback experiences — as giver and receiver — and explain how emotional awareness shapes the effectiveness of managerial communication (BASK: Communication — Listening; Relationship Management — Relationship Building) 2. Apply the Radical Candor framework to distinguish between four distinct feedback styles — Radical Candor, Ruinous Empathy, Obnoxious Aggression and Manipulative Insincerity — and evaluate the organisational impact of each (BASK: Communication — Delivering Messages; Ethical Practice — Professional Integrity) 3. Identify and categorise real-world feedback examples using the Radical Candor quadrant, demonstrating the ability to recognise communication patterns that support or undermine a culture of honest, respectful dialogue (BASK: Communication — Exchanging Organisational Information; Ethical Practice — Ethical Agent) 4. Rewrite and rehearse feedback conversations using the Radical Candor principles of Challenging Directly and Caring Personally, applying constructive feedback techniques that balance honesty with interpersonal respect (BASK: Communication — Delivering Messages; Constructive feedback for developmental opportunities) 5. Construct a personalised, actionable feedback plan that specifies when, how and to whom Radical Candor will be applied in real workplace conversations (BASK: Communication — Delivering Messages; Leadership & Navigation — Managing HR Initiatives) 7. Speak the Truth, Show You Care is a 2-hour recorded workshop for people managers and team leaders on giving honest, respectful feedback using the Radical Candor framework. Participants learn to distinguish between four feedback styles, practise delivering feedback that Challenges Directly while Caring Personally, navigate defensiveness and cultural sensitivity, and create an actionable feedback plan for immediate use. The session builds competency across three SHRM BASK areas: Communication (Delivering Messages; Constructive Feedback; Listening), Relationship Management (Relationship Building; Conflict Management), and Ethical Practice (Professional Integrity; Ethical Agent).
