The Strategic Human Resources Leadership program is designed to equip senior HR professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to function as strategic leaders within their organizations. Participants will develop strategic thinking and planning skills, learning to articulate the characteristics of strategic leaders, leverage their strengths, address weaknesses, and apply strategic thinking across the employee lifecycle. The program also emphasizes strategy development, using models and tools such as SWOT analysis and the Star Model to identify critical focus areas and align HR strategies with organizational goals. Additionally, attendees will explore organizational culture stewardship, gaining an understanding of core cultural elements, partnering with leadership to define and communicate culture, and creating initiatives to embed key behaviors within the organization. The course also covers talent management, focusing on establishing effective programs, identifying high-potential employees, applying succession planning fundamentals, and implementing development plans for long-term succession management. Finally, participants will develop organizational consulting skills, learning to partner with stakeholders in solving complex challenges, applying organizational development concepts, and coaching leaders and employees toward higher accountability and problem-solving. By focusing on these areas, the program aims to enhance participants' ability to lead HR functions strategically, thereby driving organizational success.

The Strategic Human Resources Leadership program is structured into five comprehensive 4-hour sessions, delivered either virtually or in person over five weeks. Each session focuses on a specific aspect of strategic HR leadership. In the first session, The Strategic (HR) Leader, participants explore the characteristics of strategic thinking and leadership. They assess their strengths and weaknesses in this area and learn to apply strategic thinking throughout the employee lifecycle. This session also emphasizes the importance of building a supportive team of stakeholders and maintaining a focus on strategic initiatives. The second session, Building Strategy, introduces participants to core strategic planning models and tools, such as SWOT analysis and the Star Model. Attendees learn to identify critical focus areas and align HR strategies with organizational goals, ensuring that HR initiatives support the broader business objectives. In the third session, Organizational Culture, the focus shifts to understanding and shaping organizational culture. Participants learn to partner with leadership to define and communicate cultural values and create initiatives that embed desired behaviors within the organization, fostering a cohesive and productive work environment. The fourth session, Talent Management, covers the establishment of effective talent management programs.
