Getting certified in the Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP). The CDP is an assessment instrument measuring conflict behaviors, an excellent resource to increase self-awareness and improve conflict management skills. The CDP is unlike any other assessment in that it focuses specifically on conflict behaviors, rather than styles. It helps individuals and teams understand how they respond to conflict, what triggers can escalate conflict, and how to manage conflict more effectively. Two versions of the instrument—the CDP-Individual (CDP-I) and CDP-360—emphasize an action-oriented approach that leads to real improvement. A thorough Development Guide provides information and tips for coping with conflict and building strong interpersonal relationships.

You're Registered!
Complete the assigned pre-work (approximately 4 hours of reading, videos, online surveys and other preparation); take the CDP-I and receive your own individual feedback report during the webinar; join a webinar hosted by a CDP Master Trainer to learn the key principles of the instrument, how to analyze the feedback report and facilitate a feedback session, and specific strategies for creating effective development plans; conduct a mock feedback session with a CDP Master Trainer via a one-to-one conference session. To maintain the quality and integrity of the instrument, there are minimum requirements to become a CDP Certified Facilitator: * Organizational experience in training, human resources, organizational development or conflict management * Previous involvement with assessment instruments * Bachelor’s Degree or coursework in psychology, organizational behavior, or a related field is preferred.
