By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to: • Define stress and the neurological components of a stress reactions • Learn the difference between stress and burnout • Understand the common drivers of burnout • Learn how mindsets contribute to stress and ways to reframe common mindsets • Reconnect with your ‘why’ when feeling burned out or stressed

Outline: Define Stress and Burnout o Common burnout drivers o Burnout assessment activity and breakout – discuss stress/burnout impacts at work for themselves and the teams they lead o Neurological components to a stress reaction o Behavioral outcomes at work and life Disrupt stress o Common mindsets that contribute to stress reactions and burnout o. Practice re-writing the inner narrative to promote a growth mindset o Immediate physiological disruptors o Breakout small group: discuss common stress reactions and coping (time allowing) Reconnect with your ‘why’ o Self-reflection (participants need pen/pencil and paper) o Breakout discussion in pairs
