This interactive, three-day training prepares participants to apply The Eden Alternative’s Principles and practices to strengthen workplace culture and advance person-directed care. Participants explore how leadership, relationships, employee voice, and shared decision-making influence staff engagement and the well-being of older adults and their care partners. Through team exercises, facilitated discussions, and practical problem-solving activities, participants practice brainstorming, building consensus, and collaborating to address workplace challenges. They examine how organizational practices can support meaningful work, empower employees, and create a culture where people’s strengths and contributions are valued. Participants receive a workbook and practical resources to document learning, reflect on current practices, and identify opportunities for improvement. The final day emphasizes applying the Principles within their own organizations, helping participants translate learning into actionable steps to begin or sustain culture change.
