This program is designed to equip both new and seasoned leaders with the skills, awareness, and practical tools needed to elevate their leadership effectiveness and build stronger, more cohesive teams. Through this seven-week journey, participants gain a deeper understanding of how trust, communication, emotional intelligence, and accountability serve as cornerstones of transformational leadership. They learn to assess their personal leadership style through the DiSC® Management Assessment, build trust within their teams, and adapt their approach to meet the developmental needs of individual team members using the Situational Leadership model. Emotional intelligence is emphasized as a key driver of personal and team performance, with participants learning to identify emotional triggers and manage their impact in workplace dynamics. Additionally, leaders develop coaching skills, learn to give and receive feedback constructively, and explore how to handle difficult conversations with clarity and respect. As team development is essential to engagement and retention, participants also explore the stages of team growth and the leadership strategies best suited to each phase. The program culminates in a capstone session where all skills are applied in a real-world case study simulation, reinforcing learning through collaboration and practical application. Throughout the training, leaders build confidence, gain actionable strategies, and receive continuous support through supervisor coaching and accountability tools, ensuring long-term impact beyond the classroom.

The activities in the Purpose-Driven Leadership Training program are highly interactive and designed to apply leadership concepts in real-world scenarios. Participants begin by reflecting on their own leadership experiences and identifying the traits that build or break trust, which sets the foundation for group discussions and self-assessments. Using the DiSC® assessment, they engage in activities that reveal their personal management style, exploring what drives or drains them and how their style affects delegation, direction, and team interactions. Emotional intelligence is developed through guided exercises, including the Emotional Intelligence 2.0 assessment, role-playing situations that require self-management and social awareness, and practicing techniques for responding rather than reacting in challenging situations. Leaders also participate in structured activities that assess team members’ skills, confidence, and motivation, allowing them to adapt their approach to meet varying development levels. Coaching and feedback are practiced through role-play conversations that apply the CIA (Control-Influence-Accept) and SBI (Situation-Behavior-Impact) models, helping participants build confidence in handling corrective feedback and fostering growth. In sessions on team dynamics, participants analyze case studies, identify which stage of development a team is in, and collaborate on strategies to address challenges. The program concludes with a capstone simulation where participants work together to solve a leadership challenge, integrating all the skills and insights they have gained while receiving peer and facilitator feedback. These activities are complemented by reflection exercises, group dialogue, and action planning to ensure leaders leave with practical tools they can immediately apply in their roles.
