In this workshop, attendees will gain knowledge of how to create culture and adapt behaviors to achieve business outcomes. Participants will explore the definition of culture and learn from leaders who have successfully adapted their own company’s culture. Workshop exercises assist participants to explore their own current culture, create a vision for the culture needed in the future and build an actionable culture transition plan. • Understand the Voices of Experience – 5 w’s and an H • Learn the Culture Model • Learn to create and adapt culture • Document current actions and behaviors • Examine existing values and beliefs • Complete a current state culture map with strategy and business outcomes • Share vision of future strategy and target outcomes • Define future values and beliefs • State necessary behaviors and practices • Evaluate gaps • Develop an action plan and new behaviors

• Pre-work session #1 Pre-session 1-1 coaching with participants. Coaching call ensures participants have a clear understanding of commitment and that participant unique needs and expectations of the course are understood. • Session #1 Culture and Strategy Discussion. Topics include introduction to the culture model, examining the importance and benefits of a culture focus, exploring how culture can adapt and the levers to reinforce culture. o Objectives:  Define culture and its components.  Explain how strategy, business results, values, beliefs and organizational behaviors and practices create and sustain culture. • Pre-work session #2 Perform a culture self-assessment. Participants will record observations of their own company culture. • Session #2 Create a current culture map. Identify current culture by exploring cultural levers and behaviors observed. o Objectives:  Observe levers influencing your organization's current culture and construct a current state map.  Analyze existing practices to identify current values and beliefs. • Pre-work session #3 Prepare a vision/strategy for the next 2 – 5 years and consider the cultural requirements for success. • Session #3 Define the future culture needed to achieve business success, identify the values, beliefs, and practices necessary. o Objectives:  Assemble a future state culture map. • Pre-work session #4 Participate in a coaching call with the facilitator. • Session #4 Build your “next” culture – design a roadmap to create a strategy and business enabling culture. o Objectives:  Prepare a culture transition plan utilizing change management best practices.
