Healthcare costs continue to outpace wage growth, and many employees struggle to access timely primary care. Onsite and near-site health centers have become one of the most powerful levers employers have to improve access, engagement, and health outcomes while bending the cost curve, but only when they are designed, procured, and governed with discipline. This session walks HR leaders through the full lifecycle of a clinic strategy: assessing whether a clinic is right for the organization, selecting the right model, running a fair and rigorous procurement, launching for engagement, measuring what matters, and growing services incrementally over time. Participants will leave with a practical framework, decision criteria, and the questions to ask at every stage. Learning Objectives By the end of this session, participants will be able to: 1. Assess organizational readiness for an onsite or near-site clinic using claims, population, geographic, and workforce data. 2. Compare clinic delivery and pricing models and select the approach best aligned to workforce needs and organizational goals. 3. Apply a structured procurement and governance framework, including performance guarantees and a balanced KPI scorecard, to hold clinic vendors accountable. 4. Develop a phased roadmap for expanding clinic services based on measured access, engagement, clinical, and financial results.
