Key topics presented in the e-learning class include the following: Benefits of Diversity and Inclusion, Changing Workplace Demographics, Overcoming Gender and Racial Bias, Generations in the Workplace, Resolving Unconscious Bias, Importance of Diversity and Sensitivity, Tools such as Cultural Intelligence and Inclusive Action Plan, Team Diversity Worksheet, Diversity Performance Plan, a Diversity Checklist are included to carry the ideas presented into the day to day operations of the company or organization. Online Diversity Course Objectives: Build an inclusive culture and being sensitive within the workplace, Recognize and resolve unconscious bias, Use effective communication techniques to resolve conflict, Understand employee responsibility with regard to harassment and illegal discrimination. Interactive quizzes within the online program include both questions and answers along with why a behavior was appropriate or inappropriate. Video situational case scenarios allow employees to experience relevant diversity communication challenges and convey their assessment of such scenarios. A test for understanding is administered at the end of the course with a score of at least 80% required for successful completion. Upon passing the test, the employee may print or save a PDF file of the certificate of completion.
