VTCs are instructor led and will offer the opportunity for interaction and participation that is comparable to the in-person class. These classes generally offer the same continuing education units (CEUs) In order to attend a VTC, you must: (1) have internet access, (2) have a computer with microphone and speaker set-up utilizing a headset or other low feedback system, (3) download WebEx player before entering training, and (4) have a working email address in your BWC Learning Center account to ensure we are able to contact you with details including the WebEx URL. Chromebooks, iPads, Android tablets, and cell phones have limited WebEx functionality and we DO NOT recommend their use for virtual training. To ensure that you receive credit for your attendance, you must: (1) be in the virtual classroom for the entire scheduled time with a functioning microphone or phone connection, (2) participate in the activities during the virtual class, and (3) complete and obtain a passing knowledge assessment score within 2 days after class. Failure to do any of the following might be cause for a student incompletion. Additionally, your BWC Learning Center registration must match your WebEx registration to be provided credit. Special anomalies can be discussed with your BWC host if someone registered a student but was not person to attend class. If not discussed with the host when there is no WebEx time for a BWC Learning Center assessment for a VTC, the assumption is the student did not take class. VTCs will be updated 14 days after they are completed within the BWC Learning Center. Please contact dshcc@bwc.state.oh.us for any issues or concerns. Details You're Registered!
