According to research by SaaS, a resilience gap exists. Their survey of global business executives found that while 97% of respondents believe business resilience is important, only 47% believe their organization is resilient. Some of the areas executives are most concerned about include driving digital transformation, inflation and economic challenges, attraction and retention of talent, to name a few. For organizations to be resilient, you have to be in a position to both anticipate potential disruptions and to respond and adapt quickly. You need to ensure continuity in your operations to take care of customers, protect your assets, your brand, and, most importantly, protect the wellbeing of your human capital. Your ability to adapt well makes a difference in the levels of stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout you and people on your team experience. Retired Col. Charlie Davis shares his experiences as a military leader and ideas for how we can apply his lessons learned for ourselves personally and organizationally. Col. Davis has over three decades of dedicated service in the U.S. Army and U.S. Intelligence Community, having held multiple sensitive roles within the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
