Why AI Adoption Is Exposing a Leadership Readiness Gap AI is moving quickly, and most organizations are still figuring out where it can create real value, how fast to adopt it, and what responsible implementation should look like. That uncertainty is both a technology and leadership challenge. As companies experiment with new tools and new ways of working, AI is exposing weaknesses that already exist inside organizations: unclear decision-making, outdated processes, siloed teams, uneven manager capability, and cultures that struggle with ambiguity and change. Layering AI onto those foundations doesn’t automatically create transformation. In some cases, it simply accelerates the dysfunction that was already there.
