Join us for an inspirational crash course in all things social and environmental impact, through the lens of B Corp craft breweries. Certified B Corps are mission-driven companies that expand the focus beyond shareholders, balancing purpose and profit while taking into account the best interests of people, communities, and the planet. B Corps are certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. While there are more than 2,300 B Corps across the United States, only 17 of those companies are craft breweries. In this seminar you'll hear from three certified B Corp craft breweries—Lawson's Finest Liquids, Allagash Brewing Company, and Brewery Vivant/Broad Leaf Brewery + Spirits. These breweries range in size from national brands to brewpubs and will share why they each chose to become B Corp-certified as well as how they built and executed social impact and sustainability initiatives across their companies. Additionally, a representative from B Lab will join the panel to share the key values of being a B Corp and the process for certification. Whether you are interested in becoming a B Corp or are looking for ideas about how to incorporate giving back and the environment in your business model, this session is for you.
