By the end of the program, learners will be able to: Describe the fundamentals of project management within the specific context of learning and development projects, including key concepts, roles, and processes. Apply practical project management skills through case-based and problem-based learning, focusing on real-world scenarios related to learning and development projects. Identify and analyze the unique characteristics of learning and development projects and how these impact project design, implementation, and evaluation. Create essential project management artifacts such as the Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Delivery Schedule, Resource Plan, and Evaluation and Measurement Plan tailored for learning and development initiatives. Utilize targeted coaching insights to enhance the effectiveness of learning and development projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and goals. Develop project documentation including a draft Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using course-provided templates, which will be evaluated and debriefed by instructors and peers. Apply project management methodologies to real-world learning and development projects, utilizing personal or organizational examples to practice and refine skills during the practicum. Evaluate project progress through critical measurement and evaluation strategies to ensure successful learning and development outcomes.

This workshop is designed to provide a review of program management fundamentals, with a specific contextual focus on learning and development projects. This offering provides specific, actionable insights on the unique characteristics, measures, and targeted individualized coaching relating to learning and development projects. Participants will develop practical skills using case-based and problem-based experiences with real-world examples (including those brought in by participants) to develop effective program management artifacts (Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Delivery Schedule, Resource Plan, Evaluation and Measurement Plan, etc.).
