Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to: Apply trauma-informed communication techniques during intake, interviewing, and documentation to reduce retraumatization and keep reporting employees engaged. Recognize indicators of workplace harm that extends beyond the office, including domestic violence, sexual violence, and stalking, and identify appropriate safety planning and accommodation responses. Construct an evidence-based business case that quantifies the turnover, productivity, and reputational costs of workplace abuse in language executive and finance leadership responds to. Explain the mechanics of the employment practices liability insurance market and evaluate how to engage CFOs, risk officers, and brokers as accountability partners. Assess the risks and opportunities of AI tools in HR practice and apply practical guardrails for privacy, confidentiality, and bias in sensitive matters. Produce documentation and escalation materials using the FEAR NOT Framework that distinguish verifiable fact from interpretation and withstand scrutiny in a high-stakes internal investigation.
