EQ in Action includes five 2-hour interactive sessions focused on emotional intelligence practice and development, addressing five key workplace challenges. The design methodology takes a hybrid learning approach by introducing the topic during the session and then creating opportunities to practice emotional intelligence after to build competence and confidence in these new skills. The workshops included in the program are interactive, engaging, data-driven, and practice-based. In this program, participants practice tough conversations through an EQ lens and walk away with application tools and a simple job aid to approach difficult conversations more effectively, building confidence and trust, reducing stress, and achieving better results. The program is designed to equip learners with effective strategies for delivering constructive feedback with empathy and receiving feedback gracefully. Participants leave the session more skilled, more confident, and equipped with practical tools that can be applied immediately to enhance performance, strengthen relationships, and drive results through feedback. Furthermore, The Art of Active Listening is a 2-hour practice-based session where participants learn how to listen with emotional intelligence. Participants learn practical techniques to enhance communication and deepen connections to better drive results. In addition, participants engage in an exploration of resilience and adaptability, learning how to embrace uncertainty, navigate transitions, and cultivate a mindset that enables you to not only survive but thrive in times of change. Session participants learn how to approach change with an EQ mindset, toolset, and skillset, and they leave the session with an EQ management framework to manage change effectively. Lastly, participants learn practical EQ tools and strategies for managing stress, understanding the power and benefits of mindfulness, and building resilience. Participants leave the session with a resilience development plan enriched by an EQ framework and specific resilience strategies to practice, resulting in lower stress, higher engagement, better performance, and greater well-being.
