Francisco Hernandez is a Criminal Law Specialist Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Francisco is a dual citizen of the United States and Mexico. He is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. In addition to running his law firm since 1994, Francisco has served as Chairman of DFW International Airport, the Texas Ethics Commission, as a Municipal Judge and prior to establishing his own firm, he served in the Texas State Capitol as special legislative counsel for two State Senators. He was an in-house legislative attorney for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as well as a Staff attorney for a large metropolitan law firm. Early in his career, Francisco worked in the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Department of Justice, and for Skadden Arps, a multi-national law firm in Washington, D.C.He is admitted to practice in Texas, the United States Supreme Court and the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Francisco received his Juris Doctorate from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. and his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. Francisco has authored several legal articles and presented seminars in the U.S. and Mexico and is a regular political commentator for FOX News. A few of the honors he’s received include being named “Man of the Year” by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, “Outstanding Young Leader” by the Jr. Chamber of Commerce, one of “40 Under 40? by the Fort Worth Business Press, and “Power Attorney of the Year” by the Fort Worth Business Press.
