In this session, participants will: -Gain a clear understanding of Supervisory Roles and Functions -Understand individual self-concept and the role it plays in leadership -Gain an understanding of their leadership style and how that leadership style works within their unit. -Begin to develop a vision and mission for their unit within the scope of their department leadership. -Develop their own coaching philosophy -Explore various communication styles and the impact they have on the unit. -Gain insight into conflict management and the importance of feedback -Share best practices for various duties
