Who should attend: Individuals involved in the construction industry andanyone with fall protection concerns should attend. You will learn: About fall protection systems. Application of guardrails, safety nets and personalfall arrest systems. Functions and duties of a competent person asthey apply to fall protection. OSHA 29 CFR 1926, Subpart M and ANSI recommendationsas they apply to this subject. After this course, you will be able to: Recognize fall hazards. Select fall protection systems as referenced inoccupational safety health codes. Monitor the effectiveness and appropriate use offall protection systems. Special requirement: Portions of this course may be held outside. Students should wear clothing appropriate for weather conditions. How you will be assessed: Satisfactory participation of instructor-led and student-centered exercises. And/or an end of course test using provided materials.
