Objective 1 Participants will be able to distinguish common myths about grief from evidence-based grief recovery principles and evaluate how unresolved grief has influenced their own relationships, communication, and wellbeing, while recognizing its potential impact on employee engagement, productivity, and workplace relationships. Objective 2 Participants will be able to apply the Grief Recovery Method® communication principles through their own structured learning assignments and use these skills to foster psychologically safe, compassionate conversations with employees experiencing loss while maintaining appropriate workplace boundaries. Objective 3 Participants will be able to complete the Grief Recovery Method® action steps to address a personal loss experience and identify how the principles of the program can inform appropriate leadership responses, HR practices, and referral options that support employee wellbeing, retention, and organizational effectiveness. Objective 4 Participants will be able to integrate the insights and skills gained through their personal work in the Grief Recovery Method® to recommend strategies that contribute to a grief-informed workplace culture, strengthen trust, enhance resilience, and support employees experiencing significant life losses.
